Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs
On this page, you’ll find an overview of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs. It's in the form of a pyramid. Let's consider it with the eye of an entrepreneur. For each type of need, I'm going to share ideas to show what the consumer buys which means that when any one of us has those needs, we might think about the same products or services. Likewise as an entrepreneur, we can offer those products and services to others who need them so they can buy.
The First Four Levels of the Pyramid
At the first level, the largest one at the bottom, are the basic needs (physiological) that human beings have. Besides, Maslow explains that the first four levels correspond to needs that the human being has and that reflect lack. That means when we have any need that is part of any of those levels (levels one, two, three, or four), it's in our best interest, for our well-being, to fill those needs.
The Fifth Level and Beyond
Starting with level five, it's not about lack. It's about feeling fulfilled.
